BookGive Book Drive
As part of our new partnership with the charity BookGive, we will be collecting book donations at Fall Fest! Please bring new or gently used books to the event to help us make a difference in our community.
Anyone can visit the BookGive Free Book Room to pick up individual books. However, BookGive specializes in creating curated collections for local organizations, including underserved schools, homeless shelters, food banks, safe houses, senior living facilities, rehab centers, and hospice programs.

BOOKS WE CAN ALWAYS USE
- Books in Spanish (children’s and adult) - high need
- Board books (baby books)
- Children’s
- Young adult
- Adult fiction (prefer not more than 10 years old)
- Biographies and memoirs
- History
- General nonfiction that appeals to a broad audience
- Poetry
- Large print books
- Nonfiction (not more than 15 years old)
- Cookbooks
BOOKS WE CANNOT ACCEPT
- Textbooks
- Comic books
- Magazines
- Damaged books
- Encyclopedias
- Technical books or trade journals
- How-tos for things no one uses anymore (for ex: WordPerfect)
- Reference books (dictionary, thesaurus, etc)
- Bibles and other sacred texts (books about religion that appeal to a broad audience are okay!)
- Travel books more than 3 years old
- Anything that’s not a book
