🎉 Pre-Race Highlights
- Venue & Expo Open: 6:15AM
- Grab Your Books: Don't forget that we have a book drive for new or lightly used books, all going to our benefiting charity, BookGive! Drop off your books at the BookGive tent across from the packet pickup tent.
- 80's Costume Contest: We love it when folks get into the theme with costumes! Just head on over to the event banner across from the packet pickup tent to snap a photo with our official photographer, since only these photos will be used for determining our costume contest winners. We will be on the lookout for the best outfits, and the winners will be emailed after the event with a special discount for a future All-Out race!
- Gear Check: Next to packet pickup. Dropped items on course and in the venue are returned to lost & found at the gear check.
- Toilets: We have plenty of portable toilets in the venue, against the building.
- Expo Access: Open pre- and post-race—wellness, treats, and fun await!
📛 Bib & Start Line Info
- Start Line Narrowed: The width of the path from the start line to the trail access is intentionally narrowed to 6' to prevent losing time from bunching at the trail access. When starting, all human and dog athletes need to stay within the cones to keep everyone moving smoothly.
- Bib Guidelines: Wear on outermost layer, horizontal, and visible.
- Start Line Etiquette: ⏱️ Fast runners up front 🚶 Walkers toward the back.
- Chip Timing: Your time starts when you cross the line. Someone could be behind you the entire race and still beat you, so as I always say, "either just run faster, or run your own race!"
- Start Window: ‼️ Late starters must downgrade or won’t be allowed on course with a bib.
- Half: 7:00–7:05AM
- 10K: 7:30-7:35AM
- 5K: 7:40-7:45AM
🛡️ On-Course & Safety
- Trail Etiquette: Be courteous on these trails shared with the public and be especially mindful that cyclists use this trail.
- Running with Dogs: Short leashes only. Dog bowls at aid stations + treats at the gear check tent!
- Bib Visibility = Safety: Keep your bib front-facing and visible at all times for course directions, timing, and photos.
- Course Knowledge = Confidence: Know your route and aid station layout 🔗 here. Especially note the dam dogleg inside the Standley Lake Open Space that you run only once, going out from the venue.
- Enjoy the Support: we feature MilkShake Factory chocolate and Gu Energy at every aid station, in addition to our usual water and Gatorade, plus Superganix plant-based balm for your on-course aches.
- Drop Those Layers: Any items dropped at your first pass of Aid 1 will be whisked back to gear check before you finish. Any items dropped at other aid stations will be brought back to gear check at the end of the event. Please only drop items at aid stations.
- Stay in the Cones: a portion of the course runs along the shoulder of a small residential road, please stay within the cones, and be aware of vehicle traffic.

💙 Benefiting Charity
Literacy is a basic human right. Your gift puts books into the hands of people who need them - children in Title I schools, unhoused teens, overburdened teachers, seniors, and our neighbors experiencing hardship. Even $10 moves boxes of books. Our new benefiting charity BookGive is proud to donate more than 8,200 books each month to our partner organizations, including senior centers, low income schools, hospitals, clinics, facilities for the incarcerated, food banks, laundromats, transitional housing facilities, and more. Since their founding in 2019, BookGive has donated more than 500,000 books to the community! Don't forget that All-Out matches all athlete donations!
